Apprentice Program

Positions Available:

  • SCADA Engineer
  • RTU Expert
  • Installation and Commissioning Engineer
  • SCADA System Designer (for Database and User Interfaces)

Location:
European Office - Skopje, Republic of Macedonia

Duration:
May 15th 2007 - September 15th 2007

Successful candidates will gain experience in the following fields:

  • SCADA System functionality
  • Hardware components, RTU’s and Substation Automation
  • Reading and understanding electrical wirings for Substations
  • Using SCADA software and database creation
  • Designing Single Line Diagram Displays (HMI)

Qualifications:

  • Students studying Industrial Engineering Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software
  • Engineers eager to gain addition SCADA experience
  • Technicians in Electronics, Industrial Automation and Electricity
  • Candidates must be skilled in ACAD and all Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • English Language proficiency to a level of fluency

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English- speaking and writing is a must
  • A second language is an asset
  • Working languages are Macedonian and English

Position Available:
 
SCADA Engineer

Location:
European Office - Skopje, Republic of Macedonia

Responsibilities:

  • Design SCADA control systems to support customer applications
  • Provide commissioning assistance and trouble-shoot field problems from the office or on the field (international traveling required)
  • Manage projects from initial development to the delivery and commissioning of the customer’s systems.
  • The configuration of the SCADA software and database creation
  • Designing Single Line Diagram Displays (HMI)
  • Preparing quotes and making system level drawings (ACAD)

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background - 3 to 5 years in Industrial Engineering and Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science and Software.
  • Knowledge of RTUs, Protection Relays, PLC’s, Meters and other Substation Automation Equipment is an asset.
  • Knowledge and understanding of communication media (Fiber-Optic, Serial, Ethernet, Radio, Wireless) and industrial protocols (Modbus, IEC-101,-103,-104, DNP, etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience using SCADA Software from other vendors
  • Understanding Power Distribution and Substation functioning
  • Experience in R&D activities and a proven track record of innovation and problem solving.
  • Working knowledge CAD for system level design

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English- speaking and writing is a must.
  • A second language is an asset (Spanish preferred)
  • Working languages are Macedonian and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Create BOMs and system level drawings

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of technical training in electronics and software
  • Experience in R&D activities and a proven track record of innovation and problem solving
  • 5 years work experience in Electrical Control systems, Communications, Power Distribution development or Process control
  • 2 years experience in the development and teaching of training courses
  • Working knowledge CAD for system level design

  • Self-confident, highly motivated team player
